These researches analyze the development or recession of any economy or a nation within a definite period enabling the government the need to introspect. For instance, if there has been a debacle in respect of economy, the application of these very methods in researches make it easier for the government to adopt essential and excessive measures to face the grave situation. On the other hand, qualitative research focusing on social phenomena through interviews become useful at the time of making comparative analysis.
